Growing up playing basketball in the metro-Detroit area helped me not only realize the importance of diverse teams, but the power of belonging. The relationships with my teammates made a profound impact on the way I understand privilege and identity. I am an unapologetic intersectional feminist with more than seven years of strategic project management and facilitating skill-building leadership workshops. My experience in both the non-profit and private sector has given me a unique perspective on effective interventions that strengthen inclusion, equity and diversity.
Why I joined INW:
I have a B.A. in Communication and Women’s Studies from Denison University and am pursuing my Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Organization Leadership and Management from the George Washington University.
